"The first woman President meets herself as a slave in the 1800s." A surprisingly light-handed and humorous story about a young woman who is elected the first woman president of the United States, then finds herself a slave on a southern plantation in 1860, just prior to the Civil War. Her experiences as a slave, and on a race to freedom via the underground railroad, give her a new perspective on her role as president.”
ABOUT THE AUTHORDennis Goldberg has won or placed high in many screenwriting competitions with several of his scripts, some of which were lauded in more than one contest. A resident of Wyoming, he also has authored or co-authored several projects now in production or pre-production.
NOTE: Suitable for adults and older children. No sex, nudity, on-camera violence, or objectionable language. An exception to the latter is use of derisive terms for blacks. Some mildly suggestive dialogue.
